Healthcare Interpreter Training 2013
El Centro Translations – Healthcare Interpreter Training course is designed for bilingual individuals with no professional training. Cultural Competency Trainings
The Hispanic Center of Western Michigan’s Chief Executive Officer, Martha Gonzalez-Cortes, and El Centro Translations’ Director, Salvador Lopez, gave an eight-hour training at the Bicycle Factory for 30 Grand Valley State University staff members. The training focused on helping GVSU staff reach out to Latino students in West Michigan. Save The Date! Hispanic Festival 2012
The Hispanic Festival attracts attendees from across the state, local Hispanic business owners, as well as artists and performers from 20 different Latin American countries. If you are looking for great food, music, and entertainment, you are going to want ot join this community celebration. All proceeds are to benefit the Hispanic Center of Western Michigan, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.

El Centro strives to provide knowledgeable healthcare interpreters by offering interpreter training courses to bilingual individuals looking to grow their skill set. The limited English proficients population is rising and El Centro understands that there is a need for professionally trained interpreters.
